Positive Masculinity In Action Workshop
‘….being a boy has become an educational risk factor….’ 31 October 2022 The Australian

And for educators, the challenge is: how do we respond in meaningful, practical ways?
Following a series of international conferences, research publications and on the back of Federally funded trial delivering teacher instruction and curriculum to over 1000 students in four states and territories, The Foundation for Positive Masculinity is proud to partner with the Crowther Centre to deliver this intimate, one-day immersive workshop.
Together, we will take a deep dive into the realities facing adolescent boys, and equip educators with practical, evidence-informed strategies that can be implemented within their own school contexts, as well as how to measure the impact and change.

Participants will hear directly from the Crowther Centre team, who bring this work to life every day. Grounded in contemporary research and real-world application, this session will offer tangible tools and insights for engaging staff, students and parents.
Set within a live school environment, the day will feature a range of “in action” learning experiences, including:
